Questions borrowed from wickenden.

1. Have you ever had braces? Any other teeth trauma?

2. Ever broken any bones?

3. Ever had stitches?
Yes, a few.

4. What are the stories behind some of your [physical] scars?
When I was 3 or 4 years old, my 2nd cousin was staying with us. One day my mother was bawling him out over something at the foot of a flight of stairs. I was at the top of the stairs, leaning over to hear what was going on, when I slipped and fell, landing head first on the edge of the newel post. When I regained consciousness, I was laid out on our yellow kitchen table, bleeding profusely, with my mother freaking out. I needed several stitches to close the wound, and have a scar on my forehead. The 2nd cousin died some years later in a gruesome farming accident.
I had an appendectomy when I was 12, and I have a 4 or 5 inch scar on my belly from that. I believe they don't make such large incisions now.
In my late teens, I had a summer job working in a factory and I accidentally cut the web between my thumb and forefinger while cutting twine with a hooked-blade utility knife.

5. How do you plan to spend your weekend?
Hiding under the bed! No, actually I will be listening to music, watching a few videos, and possibly doing some work that I brought home.

  • Broken trees

A few examples of trees broken by the accumulation of snow, as mentioned in my last post. The snow is gone, but the damage remains.
