Lookout atop Diamond Head

This lookout was constructed during WW II. Getting to it requires a steep climb up a winding trail, through a few unlit tunnels and up several long flights of stairs, but at the end you are rewarded with a good view.

Looking west, over Waikiki and the city of Honolulu. The crater rim and another lookout are in the foreground.

Looking south, you can see inside the crater and the ocean beyond.
