Christmas Day

Slept in a bit, then opened our presents. Had our big meal around mid-day, and a second helping early in the evening.

In between, I listened to a lot of music (the usual, plus CDs by Lucinda Williams and Eva Cassidy that I received as gifts). I also searched for a utility to sync my PC's clock with an atomic clock. There are a number of programs like that; I settled on one called Dimension 4. I also got a utility called Time Copy which syncs my handheld with the PC. Now if only I could sync all the other clocks and watches in the house...

Ended the evening drinking chai tea and watching a video by candlelight (The Winslow Boy -- excellent film). It is strange how soothing candlelight can be.
