This weekend I've been doing last minute Christmas preparations like wrapping gifts and shopping for turkey, wine (Piesporter Goldtropfchen) and Christmas plum pudding. I've also been reading Covey's Seven Habits book. And all the things I normally do on the weekend...

I have to work tomorrow, but am hopeful that I can get off a bit early.

Life is too short. There is so much I want to do. So many books to read, so much music to hear, so many places to visit, so much to learn. Perhaps that is the wrong way to look at it. I generally don't look at it like that, preferring to enjoy each day without comparing it to an imagined ideal.
