The "croaking gecko" I mentioned yesterday turned out to be a little green tree frog that L got a few weeks ago as a companion to her other (and much larger) green tree frog. It almost seems as though the little guy is trying to imitate the gecko, because I've heard him make a series of croaks immediately after the gecko made a series of chirps. Probably just a coincidence. Or perhaps he is trying to impress his mate.
