I'm not much of a drinker, but I do like a beer or a glass of wine with a meal. Sometimes I'll have two. Lately, L has been a bit concerned about my drinking. Tonight, for example, we went out to a Tex-Mex restaurant and each ordered a pint of beer with our meal. I finished mine first. We ordered a second round; I finished that one even more quickly and drank some of hers as well.. This bothers her a bit, not because she thinks I am drinking to excess, but because she's an Australian, and it just doesn't seem right that a Canadian should be able to outdrink her.
