It is now autumn. The days will get longer for another three months. I've often thought that it would be nice to spend summers in the northern hemisphere, then go to the southern hemisphere for the winter. Kind of hard to arrange that lifestyle, though.

I went to a reptile show today with L. We saw many different kinds of geckos, including some that were almost orange. Bearded dragons appear to be getting quite popular, too. They are easy to keep now that you can buy packaged food for them. There were also chameleons, iguanas, skinks, frogs and snakes (including one python whose body was about as thick as my thigh).
