It was very hot here today. We went out to Fish Creek Park for a while late in the afternoon. While we stood on a footbridge in the shade, admiring the autumn colors, two deer cautiously came down to the creek to have a drink. When they were done, they looked up at the six or eight people watching and photographing them from the bridge, and bolted back into the underbrush.
