People watching

It is hot here today, as it has been for the last few days. After breakfast, we spent some time sitting on a shady park bench at Princes Island, watching people go by. A noisy group of young children on razor scooters; heads, knees and elbows in protective gear. An older man in a wheelchair, paralyzed from the neck down and operating the joystick control with his mouth. A short, elderly oriental woman walking slowly with a beatific expression on her face. Fit, spandex-clad young people on inline skates. An obese young woman riding a bicycle. And hundreds more.
