Since today was a holiday, I slept in and then took L to the 1886 Buffalo Head Cafe for breakfast. Hadn't been there for a while. Great food; breakfast only! Then we took a long walk, ending up at the Senator Burns Memorial Garden, where I took the picture to the right (the lighting isn't great). About 25 years ago, I worked near there, and never would have considered walking all the way home. Now, we walk there and back again for an after-breakfast stroll...
