Went out to breakfast at the diner and then on a long walk toward an escarpment we can see from the apartment. Not sure we found the area we were looking for, but had an interesting walk nonetheless. It was hot, and by the time we got back, I was starting to droop a bit. In the afternoon, it rained and cooled things off nicely.

Chatted a bit with L about future plans etc. Kicked around a few ideas, but didn't arrive at any conclusions. Pleasant chat, though. L then curled up in my armchair and dozed for awhile while I surfed the net...
