I'm on vacation until after Christmas. I won't be going out of town (I'll be taking more vacation time next month, when I plan to visit Southern California). I haven't done anything to prepare for Christmas. No cards sent or presents bought. I will do some shopping during the week. Lorna is easy to buy for (unlike me).

I had a computer virus problem during the week. I don't use anti-virus software, except for a weekly scan, but it was obvious something was wrong as my computer was very slow, with a program I couldn't identify using 99% of the CPU. I ran Symantec's virus detection, but it didn't find anything amiss. After googling my problem, I downloaded a copy of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, which quickly found and eliminated the problem (viruses called Trojan-Agent and Trojan.Vundo.H).

I'm looking forward to the Survivor finale on Sunday night. I expect either Russell or Brett to win. I favour Russell, but if Brett can pull it off then more power to him.
