I had an appointment with the dentist this morning. They did X-rays, cleaning, flouride treatment. Everything is fine. Going to the dentist doesn't bother me particularly. It's quite pleasant nowadays, with a TV mounted in the ceiling and a vibrating massage unit in the chair. Another dentist whose office I walk past seems to have set himself up as the Internet dentist. There are several iMacs visible in the front window... apparently, you can surf the net while waiting for your appointment.

I'm listening to Acoustic 2000 Redux, a 4 CD Bob Dylan compilation that I got in the mail today. It consists of one version of every song Dylan played on acoustic guitar in concert during the year 2000. It sounds good, better than other Dylan bootlegs I've heard. Dylan's been on a "never-ending tour" for years, and there are always a few tapers in the audience.
