Notice what appears to be a clock on the upper right of this photo? There's a whole row of them, but walking past this new light-rail transit station the other day I realized that they weren't clocks. Each has a single hand, there are no numbers on the dial, and the hands all move at different speeds. I did a little research on the weekend and learned that this is an art piece titled "Arrival Time - Departure Time". Each clock is calibrated to one particular biological age of a beating human heart, from foetus to old age. I guess this would be called conceptual art? I'm trying to decide if it's cool or lame.
