I like the new Bob Dylan album, Together Through Life. It has a laid-back Tex-Mex feel to it. The 10 songs were co-written with Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter. It's hard to pick out who wrote what, though I'd guess Jolene was mainly Hunter's. I find that the only Dylan I want to listen to nowadays is his later-period stuff, from Oh Mercy forward. This new one is a very listenable addition to that series of albums.
