I bagged my first "first to find" in geocaching today. A new puzzle cache was published this morning. I solved the puzzle, which was based on Scrabble, and then quickly walked the mile and a half from home to find it, arriving before anyone else. There are advantages to being on vacation!

I'm currently reading Tom Wolfe's A Man in Full. It's a good read; Wolfe is very funny and a sharp observer of contemporary life. The only other book I've read by him is The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, which I enjoyed at the time (but that was almost 40 years ago).
