The long weekend has arrived at last! Four days off for me.

I don't have any firm plans for the weekend, but I may have to satisfy the chocolate craving induced by reading Joy's last few posts.

It occurred to me a while back that I knew of four songs named Candyman, but wasn't sure what the word candyman meant. I thought it might mean a sweet talking lady's man, a drug dealer, or maybe just a guy who really likes candy. Perhaps it means all of those things and more, depending on the context.

The four songs I am thinking of were recorded by Roy Orbison, The Grateful Dead, Hot Tuna (a Rev. Gary Davis tune) and of course Sammy Davis Jr. No doubt there are other songs by this name that I haven't heard.

A few examples of trees broken by the accumulation of snow, as mentioned in my last post. The snow is gone, but the damage remains.
