I finished The Odyssey some time ago, and this week received the two Powys books I had ordered from Amazon a few months ago. Before starting on them, I'll finish off a few shorter books by Lafferty, Dunsany and Sarban from my "to be read" pile.

Walking home from work today, it was a perfect autumn afternoon -- neither hot nor cold, leaves turning golden but still on the trees, the sun starting to get low on the horizon but still providing plenty of light. Everyone seemed relaxed and at ease, or maybe it was just me feeling that way after a challenging work week.

If the weather stays decent, I'll do some more geocaching this weekend.
