EnCana unveils plans for downtown Calgary office tower

"The Bow... will be 59 storeys high... the largest building in the country west of Toronto..."

It's an attractive building, and it is good to see Calgary prospering. From a purely selfish point of view, though, I'm getting tired of all the construction going on downtown. I'm constantly having to detour when I'm walking, due to sidewalks being closed or roads torn up. Sometimes the detours have detours of their own! The noise is annoying, too.

And now there's talk of Imperial Oil building a tower. No doubt they will feel the need to out-do EnCana.
