I had a good week at work. We've been developing a system to track the projects we are doing, and it has evolved to the point where it is quite useful. When a customer request comes in or an idea comes up in discussion, we create a new item in the system and prioritize and assign resources to it. We can make notes on progress as we go along, and when finished can record any program or database changes made. This is a whole lot better than trying to rely on memory or piles of scribbled notes. I also spent some time this week organizing my desk and my email folders, which left me feeling much more on top of things.
