On Tuesday, I met L over my lunch hour and she helped me pick out a new winter coat (black, no hood, snaps not buckles). I also bought a matching pair of gloves. The coat is water resistant, as I proved to my satisfaction yesterday when I was caught in a sudden downpour.

I was depressed much of the week, though there was nothing in particular bothering me. It was odd, as I had been thinking last weekend that I had been in a really good mood for weeks. I feel fine now. Maybe it's a seasonal thing.

I went to the bank yesterday and the entrance I normally use was closed. I went around the corner to another entrance and someone inside was taping a "Bank Temporarily Closed" sign on the door. Then I noticed there were police cars out front, and several policemen inside the bank. Presumably there had been a robbery, though I've seen nothing in the news.

The weather has been very mild here, highs around 50° F. I went for a walk today and ended up watching the annual Santa Claus parade. It wasn't really worth the time for anyone over six years of age. Still, it is nice to be able to stand outside for an hour in November without getting frostbite!
