I had a Sapporo beer and the dinner special, which included miso soup, salad, shrimp rolls, sushi, teryaki chicken and rice. For dessert, I had mango ice cream. The food was very good, and the decor made us feel like we had stepped out of Calgary and into Tokyo. Even the TV over the bar was tuned to a Japanese channel.

It was a quiet weekend for me. I've been limiting my walking to a mile or two a day to give my heel a chance to heal, but I did some reading (Kidnapped, by Robert Louis Stevenson), listened to music, spent time with L and relaxed.
