I've been planning my vacation, searching online for maps and information about campgrounds and trails, printing the results. I just hope the weather is decent and campsites are readily available (and not flooded out). I'll make some alternate plans just in case.

I downloaded the coolest thing this week: a version of Mahler's Symphony No. 8, also called "The Symphony of a Thousand", performed in Basel, Switzerland in 2001 by the Basel Symphony Orchestra and 15 choirs -- one of the few times since its premiere that it has been performed by 1,000 musicians. It was recorded but never released commercially. CDs were handed out to the participants.
