This morning I went with Lorna to the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary and Wildlands. The weather was perfect, and with the trees turning green and wildflowers starting to bloom it felt like spring for the first time this year. Apart from the omnipresent Canada Geese, we didn't see many birds -- a few magpies and robins, and one grebe.

On the way back home, we saw a huge display of motorcycles on the 8th Avenue mall. It was spread over a three block area. Most of the bikes were factory stock Harleys, Honda Valkyries and so on, but there were a few custom choppers like the one below.

It was a good day. I had been exhausted on Friday, dragging myself around like a zombie, but a good night's sleep fixed me up.

I've ordered a DVD writer and a stack of DVD+R and DVD+RW media for my computer. You can never have too much storage, and the prices of drives and media have dropped to very reasonable levels.
