This morning I had to boot my PC twice in an attempt to get it to recognize my old keyboard. It still didn't work, so I yanked the plug out and tried my new USB keyboard, which had arrived yesterday. Windows recognized it immediately, and I've been using it ever since. It has a very different layout, but with only 65 keys it can do everything my old one could (and more, as it also has a Windows key).

It has been cool and overcast here, rather dreary weather. I've slept heavily the last 2 nights, until after 11:00 a.m. today. Normally on the weekends I'm up by 8:00 a.m. at the latest.
