It was quite warm today, and I walked from downtown along the Bow River to the zoo (and then caught the train back). The river is still partly frozen. In places, the walking trails were icy or covered in water. It was good to get out -- I've been getting a little stir crazy the past few weekends.

Someday I would like to journey down some of the rivers in southern Alberta, either by canoe or rubber raft. I've never done anything like that, and wouldn't know where to begin, but I suppose there must be guided tours.
