Spent my entire afternoon in a meeting. I don't like long meetings, and the longer they are, the more I dislike them. We did hash out some project issues, so I suppose it had value. And it ended on a good note -- someone mentioned that Monday is a holiday, a fact that had somehow escaped my attention!

Then I went out for a bite at a pub with L. We found ourselves seated between two large, very loud and boisterous groups, who had obviously been imbibing for a while. I would rather have spent another hour in that meeting.

Came home, crashed for a couple of hours, then watched the Survivor season opener. It looks like it will be a good season.
