I purchased a mini-tripod a couple of years ago, but I wasn't really happy with it. It wasn't easy to attach the camera, and very difficult to adjust the camera angle once it was attached. As a result, I hardly ever used it.

After some research online, I ordered a Pedco Ultrapod I as a replacement. I am quite pleased with this one. It is very light yet sturdy, and easy to set up and adjust. In addition, it comes with a velcro strap for attaching it to railings, tree limbs, etc. Clever design!

This is the second camera accessory I've ended up replacing after buying the first thing I saw in a local camera store. I should know by now that a little online research can pay off.

A few examples of trees broken by the accumulation of snow, as mentioned in my last post. The snow is gone, but the damage remains.
