My dad is in the hospital. He was visiting with his lady friend and found he couldn't get out of his chair. The medics came and hauled him off. He will be in there for 3 days, and will be having scans etc. (I'm getting this third-hand, so I'm not sure of all the details). He was having some difficulty standing up when we were visiting him on the weekend, so I'm not entirely surprised about this latest development.

Work is going OK. With one day left before my week off, I have all of my projects complete and ready to test. I've done my some testing of my own and am reasonably confident everything will work according to specifications.

Feeling semi-adventurous over my lunch hour, I tried Vietnamese noodle soup. It was tasty, but difficult and messy to eat, with the noodles dripping from my fork. There's a lot to be said for the sandwich.
