Bow River from rail bridge in Lindsay Park

We went for a walk to Lindsay Park today. Very overcast, but otherwise pleasant. Cool, but not uncomfortable. I took a number of pictures, most of which came out too dark. I got some nice closeups of ducks on the river, but their beautiful colors were all lost. The thumbnail to the right is one picture that at least looks a bit interesting and colorful... not that I think it is a great pic. The green dumpster adds a certain je ne sais quoi! We saw large numbers of ducks, geese and squirrels -- more squirrels than are usually visible in the summer. Perhaps they are more active in the spring, or perhaps they simply have less cover with the trees bare.

I figured out how to wrap text around a pic by following the lead of my HTML guru joyofmacs. Thank Mozilla for the View Page Source command!

A few examples of trees broken by the accumulation of snow, as mentioned in my last post. The snow is gone, but the damage remains.
