Princes Island yesterday -- note the beaver lodge in the foreground

We've been enjoying Indian summer the past 2 days. It has been quite warm in the afternoons. I went out walking today with my new camera and took a few pictures -- very few, as the memory card will only hold 4 pictures at its default resolution. I'll order a 512Mb card tomorrow. The picture above was taken with my old camera.

Tonight we went out to dinner at an Indian restaurant, one we hadn't been to before. L had the goat curry; feeling less adventurous, I settled for lamb curry. It was quite good, as were the tall cold glasses of sweet lassi that we drank. We don't often go out after dark, but the streets were quiet and we didn't encounter any problems.
