I went out this morning looking for some breakfast and coffee and came upon the beginning of a parade on the 8th Avenue mall. I expected it to be something Flames-related, hockey players riding in convertibles, but instead it was part of Carifest, an annual festival put on by local Caribbean groups. There were some amazing and colorful costumes, great dancing and very loud music.
