Me in front of Fort Calgary on Sunday. The fort was originally built by F troop of the Royal North-West Mounted Police in 1875, before there was a town of Calgary or a province of Alberta. There is a similar structure in my old home town of Lethbridge with the more colourful name of Fort Whoop-Up.

I won't be sitting outside today -- we are in the middle of a snow storm!
