I woke up early this morning, before the alarm. I checked my email and saw that I had received payments for a book and a CD I had sold on eBay, so I packaged and addressed the items before my usual weekday morning ritual of shower, breakfast and travel to the office.

Once at work, I had to check the results of a program I had left running overnight at a client site. The fix I had made to the program worked correctly, so I called the client and let them know. I started looking at another problem, but ended up spending much of the morning in a meeting to review the agenda for another meeting to be held in the afternoon.

Over my lunch hour, I went to the post office to mail my eBay stuff, then picked up a turkey sandwich and a Diet Coke and returned to my office to eat.

I spent most of the afternoon in a meeting at a client site, about a mile from our office. I don't generally enjoy meetings, and I had been concerned that this one might be unpleasant, but in fact the mood was positive and constructive.

After work, I got together with L and we went to a pub for a quick meal. We returned home and watched American Chopper. It was one I had seen before (Cody's Old School Chopper), and I fell asleep with my head on L's lap.

A few examples of trees broken by the accumulation of snow, as mentioned in my last post. The snow is gone, but the damage remains.
