It has been very windy here the past few days, with a powerful chinook warming the city. Today I saw my first Canada goose of the year, flying overhead and honking. Spring can't be far off.

I rented a few DVDs on the weekend. Matchstick Men didn't appeal to me based on the advertising, but susandennis had something good to say about it, so I gave it a try. It was much better (and very different) than I expected. I also saw Intolerable Cruelty, a Coen brothers comedy about a gold digger and an unscrupulous divorce lawyer. Quite funny, and well worth seeing.
