After hemming and hawing for months, I have ordered a 19" LCD monitor (Samsung 191T+). It's interesting how difficult I find it to spend money. I suppose that's not an entirely bad character trait. Anyway, I hope it arrives without any dead pixels. Its native resolution is 1280*1024, so it will be quite a change from the 17" CRT running at 800*600 that I've been using since the mid-90s.
