I've modified my PC's power supply by replacing the fan with a quieter model and cutting out the fan grille. I had to dismantle the power supply, cut wires, solder etc. so it was a bit more ambitious than any PC modification I've done before, but now my computer is significantly quieter and the temperature readings are about the same.

We polished off that bottle of Asti Spumanti last night. It was awfully sweet, more like soda pop than wine.

The weather has been wonderfully mild here this weekend, for January (in other words, it has been above freezing).
