The pepysdiary is getting quite exciting, what with the Fanatiques roaming the streets of London and killing people. Apparently they were religious extremists, somewhat like our al Qaeda. I wonder how 17th Century London managed to survive without color-coded alert levels?

Pepys, though dead for three centuries, updates his LJ daily. He makes me feel like a slacker.
