I bounced out of bed around 5:00 am this morning. I should have bounced right back in, because by 9:00 am I was starting to droop, and I felt tired all day. It's odd that I never get up that early on work days.

This afternoon, I went shopping for shoes and bought two pairs. In the past, I've never bought more than one pair at a time. I hope my shoe buying habits are not on an exponential growth curve, or I could be in real trouble in my later years. In any case, I am happy with my purchases. One pair is the famous Rockport WT Classic (chocolate nubuck). The other is the now-discontinued Rockport Oklahoma (tan nubuck).
