Back to work tomorrow. I'm glad I had a few days off after my trip to get over jet lag and adjust to the difference in temperature and humidity.

Apart from the air being much drier here, it also seems much thinner. Calgary is at an altitude of about 3500 feet, and for the first day or two I noticed that I was getting winded after walking any distance.

I've been following the Mars Rover mission and the images that are being beamed back to Earth. So far there are only small b&w shots, but soon there should be high-res color panoramas. What a great start to 2004!
