I went to the clinic for a flu shot this afternoon. The nurse was a real pro, and the needle was painless. There's an alarming list of possible side effects, but I'm OK so far.

It wasn't a completely pain-free day, though. This morning, I slipped on some ice and fell over, pulling a muscle in my leg. It's still very sore. My feet slid into L and she fell, too, but was unhurt -- probably because she landed on top of me.

Around noon, I hobbled over to Abruzzo Ristorante for a Christmas lunch one of our clients was putting on. I had white wine, Italian salad, veal mushroom, tiramisu and coffee. Buon alimento!
