I awoke about 4:30 thinking about a work problem, and have been unable to get to back to sleep. On the plus side, I have come up with some ideas about how to solve my problem. I am trying to convert a large amount of data in a flat file to a set of normalized tables. My first attempt didn't work correctly for all cases. Programming is easy enough. It is conceptualizing what to program that can be difficult.
