Took my 83-year-old father to breakfast. Heard a bit about his trip, what my brother is up to, etc. Then bundled him into a cab headed back to the airport (had a hard time getting a taxi at rush hour during a transit strike).

Watched two videos: Drowning Mona, an offbeat comedy recommended by joyofmacs, and Highlander: Endgame, a sequel to the TV series (and much the same, but longer and with some nudity and no commercials).

Got some CDs in the mail: Jorma 2/17/00 (2 discs) and Dead 3/1/69 (2 discs). I checked my records, and I have another 19 discs on the way...
