I'm on a 4-day weekend (Monday being Thanksgiving Day in Canada). So far, it hasn't been particularly good. I got caught up in a meeting at work that ran late on Thursday evening. I knew that L was waiting for me, and that was frustrating. When I finally got out of the office and met up with her, she was shivering and feeling ill. I got her home and warmed her up, but she still feels poorly, doesn't have much appetite and is sleeping a lot. I expect she will be OK, though. Then today I got a call from work, and I had to go in for about 3 hours to fix a problem. Apart from all that, our Indian summer seems to have ended. It is overcast and cool, but really not that bad for this time of year.

Nonetheless, apart from being a bit concerned about L, I am in a good mood. I'm looking forward to a big Thanksgiving dinner sometime this weekend. I'd like to catch a movie or two as well.

A few examples of trees broken by the accumulation of snow, as mentioned in my last post. The snow is gone, but the damage remains.
