Went to a Mexican restaurant last night -- El Sombrero. It was voted best in town in some online poll, and I did enjoy the combination plate I had. I couldn't begin to list what was in it, but it was delicious, spicy and flavorful. I had Mexican on Friday, too, when I picked up a burrito to go from a fast-food Mexican place. They had a guy there in a flashy outfit and sombrero doing karaoke. Kind of surreal.

Now I am going hiking on the Douglas Fir Trail. It is another gorgeous Indian summer day, and I want to get out and enjoy it. There can't be many more of these left before the weather turns.
