I had to go up to the University this evening to pick up L, who was exhibiting at a reptile show. I got there an hour early and wandered around the grounds for a while. When I first moved to Calgary, I worked near there, but now I rarely get up to that end of town. It was pleasant: lawns, trees, not much traffic, lots of clean-cut young people. None of the panhandlers, winos or street crazies I encounter all too often downtown... I really should move to a better neighborhood.

Anyway, after the show ended we returned to town and had steak sandwiches at a nearby pub before heading home.
