morning coffee

(no subject)

I attended the World Wide Flash Mob geocaching event at Confederation Park this morning. There were about 60 people there. The best thing about these flash mobs is that they only last 15 minutes. Show up at 11:00 a.m. and disperse at 11:15 a.m. All very tightly scripted and fun.

After the event, Lorna and I walked through the park. Spring has finally arrived. We saw many wild crocuses coming into bloom. Across the road from the WWFM there was an Adopt-a-thon, with puppies and kittens available for adoption. Further into the park, we came upon a group of workers practising with basket cranes. Plus the usual quota of dog-walkers and cyclists. Nice to see so much outdoor activity after one of the longer winters I can recall.
