I went for a long, long walk yesterday, from downtown to Edworthy Park, about six miles. The path went past the Douglas Fir Trail, but by that time I was too tired to try it. I dragged my weary body to the nearest bus stop and rode home. Today I am taking it easy. I had planned to get out each day of this 4 day weekend, but I think yesterday's effort should count for two days.
The pond pictured above is one of the quietest and most serene areas in the city. You'd think it was in the wilderness, miles from anywhere. I tried to get a panorama of the whole area, but it didn't turn out. I'll try again another time.
I do enjoy my walks along Calgary's pathways. ( Collapse )
