September 11, 2001: The day my life changed

It is three years since thousands died in the World Trade Centre, but for those who lived, no amount of time will erase the shock of that day. For the people captured in these iconic images, it is even harder to forget. David Cox interviews six survivors

This is a fairly short but moving article that brings the events of 9/11 to a personal level.

I will be taking a moment today to remember those who were murdered in New York, Washington DC and Pennsylvania on 9/11/2001, as well as those who have since been murdered by Islamic extremists in Tunisia, Karachi, Bali, Mombasa, Riyadh, Casablanca, Jakarta, Istanbul, Madrid, Khobar and Beslan (among many other places).
