I'm at the office. When I tried to install my 3Com ADSL internal modem on the new PC, I found that I didn't have Windows XP drivers. I came to the office to download them, and learned that 3Com has dropped support for this modem, and there are no drivers. I called Telus (my ISP), and they offered to mail me a new external modem. No charge, but I will have to return it if I stop using their service. It will take 2 or 3 days to get here, so I will have to revert to my old PC for internet access until then.

I did manage to archive the contents of my old hard drive on the new PC without any problem.

I'd better skedaddle home now. I checked the weather report, and there is a severe thunderstorm warning.

A few examples of trees broken by the accumulation of snow, as mentioned in my last post. The snow is gone, but the damage remains.
